Our 2009 Transform Saturday volunteer work day was a great success!  On October 24th Red Dot 100X had a team of 36 volunteers make their way to the Buckner International humanitarian warehouse in Mesquite to process donated shoes for shipping to orphans and impoverished childrentr sat workday oct 09 - 53.jpg around the world.  Our team bundled shoes together, made dozens of new shipping boxes, dug through thousands of shoes to find the right sizes to fulfill an orphanage order, and organized and shelved hundreds of ready to ship boxes of shoes.  Our work and the work of allthe teams that volunteer at this warehouse throughout the year make it possible for Buckner to collect, organize, and ship literally hundreds ofthousands of new shoes to at-risk children in Guatemala, Honduras, Peru, Kenya, Ethiopia, Romania, and Russia - all the countries in which Red Dot's mission teams have served.

So many thanks to all who came out to serve in this way!  These are the types of contributions that allow your 100X program to impact the lives of needy children and families around the world.
