Transform Saturday May 2008
On a beautiful morning in May, over 50 Red Dot employees stepped up to once again serve our local community on our second "Transform Saturday" volunteer work day. We sent out teams to five different locations where our people painted two elderly ladies' homes in Athens, painted the interior and repaired the roof at a homeless shelter in Eustace, installed flooring in a trailer home in Murchison for a man with emphysema, and built a wheelchair ramp and cleared land for a chronically ill woman in Larue.
Our teams served those in need well and performed their jobs with their typical excellence (and had great fun in the process!). Those we helped were very appreciative and were impressed with the quality of the work done. We know that when our teams left each site for the day that these folks felt cared about by our presence and that made for another successful Transform Saturday. Thank you to all who participated!
