A "Why Go?" Quote:
If you do
away with the yoke of oppression,
with the
pointing finger and malicious talk,
and if you
spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry
and satisfy
the needs of the oppressed,
then your
light will rise in the darkness,
and your
night will become like the noonday,
the Lord
will guide you always;
He will
satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land
and will
strengthen your frame.
You will be
like a well-watered garden,
Like a spring whose waters never fail.
Isaiah 58:9-11

International mission trips
Since the inception of our 100X Transforming Lives program, Red Dot has had the privilege of sending many of it’s employees on short term missions around the world to countries such as Ethiopia, Kenya, Russia, Romania, Peru, Guatemala, and Honduras. Our mission teams work on various construction projects for orphanages and poor foster families, while also bringing love in action, word, and deed to the hundreds of children in these homes. In keeping with Red Dot’s commitment to excellence, our teams carry out
all of these missions with that
same commitment by serving the children and adults that they encounter
with love and compassion. Our hope as we end each mission trip is that these precious children will understand that they are truly children of God and therefore infinitely special in His eyes. (1 John 3:1)
international projects
Red Dot 100X also has had many opportunities to make significant investments in the third world countries we have visited by funding projects that improve the conditions of orphanages, foster homes, and communities which in turn positively impact the lives of the children living there. In Central and South America Red Dot has also had the privilege of opening new group homes where teenagers living in government orphanages are brought to live. These special boys and girls live in these safer, smaller homes with Christian house parents who will help prepare these children educationally, emotionally, and spiritually as they transition into adulthood. We are excited about these types of international projects that really make a difference in a child's life. Over the months and years ahead Red Dot 100X will continue to look for impactful ways we can use our success to invest in the lives of impoverished children around the world.
Why?
So why do we go? Because love goes. Through our 100X Transforming Lives program we are asking God to send us to the poverty-strickened, the orphaned, and the helpless because we know He is for them and calls us to go to them. After Jesus told the parable of the Good Samaritan, He asked, “Which of these three do you think proved to be a neighbor to the man who fell into the robber’s hands?” And he said, “The one who showed mercy towards him.” And Jesus said to him, “Go and do the same.” (Luke 10: 36-37) Many children and adults around our world and in our own community have fallen into the “robbers’ hands” of life and circumstance. Jesus implores us to go and bring mercy to them, just as He as done for us. (John 3:16, Matthew 25:40)
Our hope and prayer for the coming years is that Red Dot will press forward to find innovative ways in which to utilize the talents, skills, and compassion of it’s employees in order to help others and, in doing so, will continue to push back the darkness that is so prevalent in our world. We look forward to more employees joining us on our journeys in the near future, and we anticipate our lives will be transformed as together we encounter the children and adults God will bring into our paths.
