The Doing Good program helps our employees connect with local needs in Athens and the surrounding community. As our Red Dot employees become aware of immediate needs here at home, we will use our time, talents, gifts, and funds, when appropriate, to empower our people to help our neighbors in crisis in a personal way. Everyone at Red Dot is encouraged to look for ways in which they can personally help those in need in our community. We at Red Dot consider it a privilege when we have the opportunity to assist our employees in making a real difference in the lives of others.  Red Dot 100X reaches out locally in two ways:
1.) Doing Good Special Projects and 2.)
Helping our employees assist those in crisis

Red Dot 100X will periodically organize company wide local outreach events designed to allow those in the Red Dot family to collectively help people in need in our local community.  Our Transform Saturday volunteer work days, Thanksgiving Food Drives, and DG Christmas Outreach are examples of ways 100X mobilizes our employees to help make a difference in the lives of our local neighbors.

Guidelines/Criteria:
Red Dot wants to empower our employees to help people in our community by meeting immediate needs in a personal way that might otherwise not be met. Here are the guidelines for these projects:
  1. Projects should meet an immediate need resulting from a crisis or setback
  2. For projects requiring financial support, monetary assistance will typically be in the few hundred dollar range.
  3. The employee submitting the Project Application to the Doing Good Committee shall be directly involved in making the necessary arrangements to personally meet this need. Time that is spent on this project will be off the clock unless approved by your supervisor.
  4. Projects requesting monetary gifts which are not accompanied by some type of personal involvement by the requesting employee will not meet the criteria set for the Doing Good program.
So if you are a Red Dot employee who knows of a person in crisis whose situation falls within these guidelines, please fill out the form below and turn it in to Tod Bush at todbush@reddot100x.com or to Sandi Pulley, Red Dot's human resource manager, in our Athens office. You are Red Dot's eyes and ears in our local community.   Please look for people in need. WE WANT TO HELP.
