100X Doing Good Christmas Outreach
Ho, Ho, Ho...here we go!
This Christmas there will be three local projects sponsored by Red Dot 100X. Please take a look at the options below and decide how you, you and your family, or you and a coworker(s) here at the Dot may want to participate.
Adopt a Child
The teachers at South Athens Elementary School prepare an angel tree
for 29 students who will not have a Christmas without some assistance.
Red Dot 100X has adopted several children and will provide a Wal Mart
gift card to purchase gifts for each child.
Adopt a Family
Through the assistance of the Henderson County Help Center Red Dot is committing to adopting families at risk. Red Dot is providing you with an opportunity to shop for gifts for these families with Wal Mart cards provided by 100X. Red Dot will also be giving a special Christmas meal to each family.
When "adopting" a child or family, there are two options: 1.) you and
a coworker adopt together as a team or 2. ) you and your family adopt
together as a team.
Everyone wanting to adopt a child or family will need to attend an informational meeting on Monday, December 8th at 2:30 p.m. in the break room. At this time you will also receive the gift cards and information about the child or family your team will be adopting. Instructions about when the gifts need to be turned in and how they are to be delivered will be given at this meeting.
If you are in the Richardson or Tyler offices or if you are unable to attend the meeting, please contact Melinda to
sign up and receive additional information and gift cards.
Toys for Tots
Help make sure a child doesn't go without this Christmas. Similar to the Food Drive donation, our Toy Drive boxes will be located in the front lobby, break room, and back staircase. The toys must be new and unwrapped. These toys will then be delivered to the Athens Fire Departmanton Monday, December 22nd.

Adopt a Child
Thanks to all who adopted a child. Twelve local children had a very special Christmas thanks to those who "adopted" these kids.
Adopt a Family
Wow! Over 45 families were "adopted" by many Red Dot employees and their own families. On Monday,December 22nd we had a large group brave the frigid temperatures toload up their cars with gifts and special Christmas meals and go make deliveries all over Henderson County to all our adopted families who needed some help this holiday season. The folks we helped were extremely grateful for the kindness our Red Dot family showed to them. And it took everyone contributing in their own way to help thesefamilies feel loved and special... so outstanding job to all involved!

Toys for Tots
Around 150 toys were donated by everyone at Red Dotduring our Toys for Tots toy drive. AND on the last day, a collection around the office raised enough to add over 100 more toys to the total! So over 250 toys were delivered to the Athens Fire Department for distribution to children who otherwise would have had little to open on Christmas morning. So thank you to all in our Red Dot family who participated in this toy drive for bringing some excitement and joy to children in our local community this Christmas season!
